Cartoons

My cartoon style grew out of necessity after I started freelancing. I had always worked realistically, but a couple of caricature  assignments led to a few more, so my portfolio went  in that direction. Now I really enjoy working with this humorous approach to drawing, and it makes up the vast majority of my assignments these days. It is a style that lends itself to both commercial advertising applications as well as corporate or personal gifts for individuals or groups.  In making the caricatures I work from photographs, and use a mixed media of ink, watercolor, dyes, markers, pencils, whatever works.

Pricing

I do not have a pre-determined, one-size-fits-all rate since everybody needs something different it seems. The best thing to do is e-mail me for an estimate on your particular job. Contact me at roger@rogerwarrick.com.  Describe with some specifics what you are looking to have done,  such as the  size of the artwork, color or line drawing, possible additional background elements, captions, etc. Also, you might refer to an example here in the gallery that is similar to what you have  in mind. This gives me more to work with that just asking "How much for a caricature?"

Please note: If you are looking for a caricature artist for your party or event, I am not your man! That is a very special talent that I have yet to truly  master. I highly recommend you check out www.the-nose.com for those particular artists.

With all that said, enjoy the show!
