I tried to move and adjust the linkage that came with the throttle body to connect to where the 1:1 linkage should be installed but the adjuster threads on the link are too short to work at the other position. I just want to know if this is the correct part to order or is the same length as what is already installed on the 1000 CFM throttle body from the factory. I was told the Holley 20-122 is also too short, however, you should be able to lengthen it by replacing the existing center piece with a longer section of threaded rod. Or, you can try lengthening that original one with a threaded coupler and a short piece of threaded rod. If you can find that adjustable linkage from a Dominator carburetor, it might be long enough. I found that the MPI TBI that I pictured in the earlier post has two springs (one on each throttle shaft). I tested without adding any additional return springs and it closed my throttle cable / pedal correctly....

Doug I dealt with this long ago. Make a small bracket of faily stiff material (I used some stainless) drilll a 5/16" hole and attach it using the LH front bolt that secures the intake manifold to the head. The spring which does NOT have to be overpowering, will then attach to the bracket and the rod, screw or what ever is used to pull the throttle to the rear. OK, after looking at every CSX3000 car on ShelbyCSXinfo, I can answer my own question. There are more forward oriented throttle return springs than rear oriented. Seems like people did it both ways, but I will go with forward and use the same bolt that CSX3287 did, albeit with a proper bracket, not just a bolt.
