You probably just had an air pocket in your cooling system. The mayo looking stuff under the valve covers is condensation. Make sure all the bolts are torqued properly.

The fact that the next event on the NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule occurs on Halloween weekend seems only appropriate for NJ driver Martin Truex Jr. Martinsville is not only a track which "haunts" the NAPA Toyota driver, but was also the site of his worst crash, ever, on his last visit.
While Truex's average start of 18th, and finish of 24th, at Martinsville, mirror his statistics at many of the tracks he has competed on in his Sprint Cup career, they don't tell the whole story of how frustrating this track has been for him. The fact that he has a top-five, and two top-tens in his eleven career starts, yet has such a poor average finish, shows just how much he has struggled in many of his appearances.
The NAPA driver is obviously aware of all this as he stated, "Martinsville has been one of my toughest race tracks just to get good results. I"ve had good cars there. I've run up front there alot. I just don't have a lot of good finishes. I've had a lot of trouble.
