A bit dated, and there are others which are better
This book is one of only a few in this field, and for that reason, it is worth reading. it is however showing signs of age, and doesn't provide a lot of hands-on info for those who want to modify their own engines.As a starting point, I would recommend AG Bell's books or Dalton's "Practical... -
Excellent book
The information in this book is just as relavant now as it was when it was written back in 1972. Physics is physics, after all. The book gave me a much clearer understanding of header theory. My only complaint is that Smith and Morrison obviously wrote this book for engineers, and I'm not one....

New auto supply business comes to downtown core of Lucknow
When people go down Campbell Street now in Lucknow they will probably see a big storefront sign that reads, RPM Auto Supply. The new business will be supplying the local area with a variety of auto supply products. The business opened recently on Dec. 19.
Owners Calvin, Amanda and Brad McClenaghan say they are currently carrying all of the basics for auto supply and eventually want to expand and offer people performance parts plus whatever is in demand.
The trio of owners said a lot of work and planning has went into making the opening of the business possible and they believe they are ready to offer the area a great selection of products at reasonable prices.
"We had tried initially to buy an existing auto parts business and that fell through and with all of the work already done, the ball was rolling and we just decided to do our own thing and open this store up," said Amanda. "It's been three years in the making and we got through everything just fine to get to this point. It has taken hours and hours of calculating cash flow charts, business plans and research of the industry to determine who our customers will actually be.
