I just bought a set of used intake manifolds but I don't think they are going to seal good in the condition they are in. Can I just take them to any auto shop and have them resurfaced?
Bring them to a reputable machine shop. Look in the yellow pages.
If you bring the parts to a garage, they will only send them out.
Sometimes your local auto parts store can recommend a good machine shop.

You should be in the low to mid 200hp range with a good engine management system, but definitely get it tuned & toss it on the dyno once your done to be sure.
