I bought one of these at Auto Zone to replace the filter on an AEM cold air intake on my 2007 Honda Fit... It plainly states that it comes with the filter oil. There is no filter oil in the package I received.

The additives were always more marketing than engineering. Like "racing drivers use it" or "keeps the F1 engines running longer". Perhaps, but there's not enough evidence that support it.

The 500 Titanium features a new front fascia, grille, LED foglamps, projector headlamps with gloss-black surrounds, 16-inch two-piece alloy wheels finished in matte titanium, lowering springs, larger brake rotors with calipers finished in matte titanium, side skirts, liftgate spoiler, rear diffuser shrouding a center-mounted trapezoidal exhaust tip, plus matte-titanium-finish door handles and mirror caps. The interior is trimmed with titanium metallic accents and is equipped with sport seats in black leather and vinyl.
The 500 Carbon is based on the 2012 Fiat 500 Sport, finished in Anodized Azzurro with black trim inside and out. Highlights include satin-finish carbon-fiber chin and liftgate spoilers, projector headlamps finished in dark black and 17-inch alloy wheels in dark black with 205/40R17 performance tires. As with the 500 Titanium, the 500 Carbon gets Mopar lowering springs, a strut-tower brace and cold-air intake. Among the additional features are a carbon-fiber exhaust tip with Mopar cat-back exhaust and a blacked-out cabin with Anodized Azzurro, black chrome and carbon-fiber accents.

So I have a spectre performance intake thats just a typical filter inside of a heatshield and I was thinking about running some 3 inch diameter spectre air ducts from the front of the truck to inside the heatshield. Ive already realized the potential problem of water and debris getting into the heatshield and then the intake. But my question is will water be able to travel up the ducts in a worst case scenario such as pouring rain?
