Is it risky for a car engine when it run without air filter?
Does it need special care to maintain the air intake system...
Yes it's very risk to run an engine without air filters as you can suck debris into the engine and cause damage to cylinder walls and cause other problems. A lot of the cars that you see parked without air filters are for show to make them look tougher or hotter.

it helps keep things that shouldnt be in the motor out, the blacker it is the harder it is to breath kind of like if u were to try and breath thru a straw (not easy) and it helps with gas to so its worth puttin one in there not that exspensive
