i have an unusual size 14x36x1 i guess because all the air filters online are like $10 or more is there a website where i can get the $1 type for this size. I went to home depot and they dont carry it, Target either

Locals made use of the day to shop and catch up on errands. For some, Black Friday was just another day and not worth all of the hype.
The trampling of a Black Friday shopper in Long Island two years ago prompted major retailers to rethink the way deals are offered.
The trend this year was to space out when items would be heavily discounted. Chains like Wal-Mart and Toy’s R Us offered deals on one category of items at 10 PM Thanksgiving night, 12-midnight, and again at 3 AM.
Jay Doyer of Greenwich, CT, stopped by the Port Chester Home Depot not for Black Friday shopping but for odds and ends. Jay Lagon of Greenwich and Rob Beck of Rye Brook were also not fazed by the discount deals.
“It’s good to get a bargain,” said Beck, “but my [air filters] weren’t discounted. When you need to get stuff, you need to get stuff.”
There are others, though, that make this day its namesake: Ray and Linda Diaz of Port Chester are one such couple. They staked out the deals online and in print, they cleaned their cars out before they woke up at 2 AM on Friday, and they drove from their home to Norwalk, CT.
