OEM Direct replacement
This product is a direct replacement for the factory item. Instructions are in German however if you look at how the original filter is before you remove it to replace it should be easy to get it in the correct way. -
Fits fine
I bought my car used and didn't know how old the cabin filter was. There are u tube videos showing how to replace the filter(very easy). This filter made a big change in the interior smell of the car.

KOREAN, EUROPEAN AUTOMAKERS DOMINATE AJAC AWARDS
Hyundai was the big winner at the 2012 Canadian Car of the Year, taking home three category awards.
The redesigned Accent and Elantra won the Small Car Under $21,000 and Small Car Over $21,000 categories, respectively, while the brand new Veloster coupe beat out six other vehicles to claim victory in the Best New Sports/ Performance Car Under $50,000.
Hyundai Group's other brand, Kia, took home two trophies of its own thanks to the latest-generation Optima, which swept the two Best New Family Car (Under and Over $30,000) categories and allowed Hyundai to take home nearly half the hardware. The LX trim won in the Under category, and the Hybrid earned top points in the Over category.
Two European automakers also earned a couple of victories apiece, with BMW's M1 Coupe besting the competition in the Best New Sports/Performance Car Over $50,000, and the X3 beating out two other vehicles as the Best New SUV/CUV Over $60,000.

The typical BMW model cycle is seven years, so even though the 2011 X3 shares the same sheet metal as its predecessor, this second generation, premium compact crossover, is all new from the wheels up. The 2011 model is slightly longer and wider and sits half an inch lower, delivering improved handling and an even better ride. The BMW X3 is powered by a 3.0L L-6 non-turbo engine that's matched with either a six-speed manual, or six-speed automatic transmission. This combination allows the crossover to produce 260hp and 225 lb-ft of torque....

The cabin air filter is in the housing just underneath the windshield, in the center of the engine compartment. Fresh air comes in through the air vents below the windshield, then up through the filter, then into the ventilation system. If you feel under the housing, you can feel the paper filter that’s already installed. There are three plastic spring nuts that you turn less than one revolution to disengage, unlock all three nuts to open the housing, then remove the old filter and install the new one. You’ll notice the flow of air goes up when the filter is installed properly, and you should see the dirty part of the old filter is on the bottom. Your new filter will tell you the proper air flow direction ensuring you install the filter correctly. Fit the new filter in so it’s symmetrical and the door closes without interfering. Lock down all three plastic nuts, you should be able to feel the filter firmly secured...
