Typical k and n filter does great job everythin included but was a b tch to n i think plastic should b a hair thinner -
ATV K&N filter
Like the product. My atv runs better with the K&N than with standard filter which tends to get clogged. The only complaint I have is when installing the filter there needs to be a better way to install it than with the somewhat flimsy gasket. They do include an extra gasket for future use.

When your piston rings wear out you will have oil blow out your crank case vent into your airbox. It's time for a rebuild.

KFX 700 VS Raptor 660 - Kawasaki ATV Forum
I own a 660 raptor with high comp piston stg 2 hot cam and full yoshi ti exhaust>when i run my normal loop,from turn to turn the kfx sling shots from the turnswhere it seems to just hook up where my current gearing(13/42) on the 660 lags a bit,requiring clutch work,itll still break the tires loose more often than not.I say from 4th gear on the raptor will run away hands down.Both bikes are fun and have their strengths.Gotta remember though the kfx has a similar motor they use in the teryx and those are 1000lbs and move pretty well,so in a 500lb atv it think it runs good stock.Can only imagine a 150hp kfx....
